Wolverhampton Has Disappointing draw

Wolverhampton Wanderers had to settle with a draw in their Championship League match against Charlton Athletic in a game that ended with a final scoreboard of 1-1.

This is the 2nd consecutive draw that Wolverhampton has sustained in their journey of making it through the Championship League and snatch a spot in the top tier Premier League.

The opening goal of the match was scored by Charlton Athletic’s Andre Amougou as he scored at the 25th minute but a 2nd half goal from Danny Batth rescued 1 point for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

When the match reached its end, the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers Kenny Jackett went on revealing to the media all of the emotions he felt throughout his clubs’ draw over Charlton Athletic.
"As the away side, we don’t set out to frustrate if anything on Tuesday night there was some frustration from me in the time they were taking over goal kicks and things like that. I think we showed a good attitude that we want to attack and we want to keep the game going. We played very well and controlled large parts of the game. I was pleased with the performance but frustrated with the result.” Kenny Jackett said as he explained that he was proud and happy with the performance of his squad but at the same time he was frustrated by the final result.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have just entered the Championship League as they were promoted from the League One after claiming the top spot of the 3rd tier English League in a record breaking season where they managed to register a new club record of 103 points in the League One.
After going through such a successful season in League One, Kenny Jackett wants to continue reaching new heights by winning more matches and is eager to make another dominating campaign but this time in the Championship League.
