Wolverhampton Wanderers facing back to back Defeats

The latest league matches of Wolverhampton Wanderers has seen the squad of Kenny Jackett sustaining back to back defeats after having lost against Derby County and Ipswich Town.

Their defeat against Derby County was rough for Wolverhampton as they got destroyed with a final scoreboard that displayed 5-0. It was a day to forget for the players and fans of Wolves. These losses have been a big blow towards the objective of Kenny Jackett and his team as they are aiming to secure a playoff position but Derby County and Ipswich Town just ran right through them.

Even with these 2 defeats, Wolverhampton still has more than enough time to click into gear and start collecting points which will help them in their journey of securing a playoff spot.

The 25 years old English midfielder of Wolverhampton Wanderers James Henry is especially optimistic about the future of his club despite having suffered these successive losses.

“It is still fairly early in the season and we are still in there. We want to keep ourselves as high up as possible because there is definitely a chance of getting in the top six or even the top two’’

“If we could string a couple of wins together we could be right back in the mix. We are only five points off the top and one point off the play-offs but equally only 11 points off the bottom three; it’s a very tight division. We still believe in ourselves and want to push on and look back on Derby as a very bad day at the office and one which we need to do everything we can to rectify.” Wolverhampton’s James Henry said as he talked during a press conference.

Henry is hoping that his teammates can bounce back quickly from these negative results and start collecting points with their next and upcoming Championship League match scheduled to take place on November 22nd as they face off with Nottingham Forest.
